Palm Park

Join us for the 6th Annual Waller Creek Pop-Up Picnic at Palm Park (711 East 3rd Street) on Saturday, April 14, starting at 6:30 pm. This community picnic is an Austin favorite, inviting everyone to experience Waller Creek with friends and family. Enjoy picnic baskets prepared by some of Austin’s best restaurants, kick back with a dj set, catch up with friends, and watch the sunset behind the Austin skyline.

Chefs from some of Austin’s most beloved restaurants will prepare picnic basket dinners for two.

Baskets are on sale now at wallercreekpicnic.org. Event attendance is free & open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to purchase picnic baskets to support Waller Creek, and may also bring their own spread.

All event proceeds benefit Waller Creek Conservancy.

The Waller Creek Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to create and maintain a chain of extraordinary urban parks around a restored Waller Creek, in partnership with the City of Austin, for the benefit of all. The Conservancy renews the natural environment, promotes play, health and wellness, economic vitality, and mobility, and engages the community through outreach, education, cultural events, and the arts.

The Waller Creek Conservancy is developing a chain of parks around a restored Waller Creek in downtown Austin. Running from Waterloo Park at 15th Street to Lady Bird Lake, the new Waller Creek parks district will include more than 37-acres of newly designed and connected urban parks and public open space, and more than three miles of new hike and bike trails, along with engaging art and educational programming. Founded on the bedrock of great design, the revitalized Waller Creek will renew the natural environment, foster the creative arts, and nourish authentic and uplifting experiences that reflect Austin’s diversity and dynamic spirit.
